Jon Wolfe

Influenced by the American heartland, Wolfe pursued his career in the music industry establishing himself as a respectable country artist alongside others like George Strait and Alan Jackson. He’s also shared the stage with other famous country artists like Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, and Asleep at the Wheel.

Born and raised in Miami, Okla., Wolfe began his musical experience at a young age by singing at his church. Although his initial interest was in classical pop, like Frank Sinatra, Wolfe was later introduced to country music by his step-father, who played at local venues with his band. Surrounded by this type of music eventually led him to become inspired by well-known artist and fellow Oklahoman, Garth Brooks.

Once Wolfe considered to make music his career, he decided to make his way into Texas, where played at local Houston venues on a regular basis, slowly but surely gaining more experience as a performer. The route he wanted to take with his music consisted of traditional sounds with hints of upbeat tunes to get the crowds on their feet dancing. Despite his decision to go this route, his music still has roots to classic honky tonk styles.

He released his first album “Almost Gone” in 2005.  In 2010, Wolfe self-released another album “It All Happened in a Honky Tonk”, which was very successful in the Southwest.  Five singles on this album made it to the top 10 on the Texas Music Chart.  In 2013, Warner Bros. re-released a deluxe version of “It All Happened in a Honky Tonk”, which sold 25,000 copies and reached number 52 on the Billboard Top Country Albums.

Wolfe released his most recent album “Natural Man” in 2015, adding to his collection of traditional, energetic music. This album reached number 25 on the Billboard Top Country albums and sold an estimated 2,200 copies the first week it was released.  Wolfe continues to perform and takes his unique style of energetic country on stage with him, giving personality to every one of his shows.
Other Country Musical Guests

Upcoming artist, Aaron Copeland, will also join the festival. Copeland grew up in the small Texas town of Corsicana where he learned to play guitar and piano at a young age and quickly began winning competitions.  As a teenager, he played honky tonk with his dad and brothers.

At the age of 20, he secured a position with top draw Casey Donahew Band (CDB) playing keys, guitar, singing harmony vocals and eventually co-writing songs for the band with band front man Casey Donahew. Copeland remained with CDB for over 6 years where he learned the ins and outs of the touring world.
Copeland then joined Sam Riggs and the Night People where he continued to fine tune his skills and build a growing fan base.
Although he enjoyed every minute with his previous bands, Aaron felt the time was right to branch out on his own. Now based out of Fort Worth, TX, Aaron has finished the process of recording his debut EP and it is now available.
Other performances include local group The Red Stone Country Band, which is formed by four eclectic friends with an immense passion for a broad perspective towards music. This band shares an infinite blend to the sounds of Country and the 50's genre of musical artistry.

Their musical expression will undoubtedly take anyone to a vivid journey through the decade’s time you wished you lived.
