Arena Press Room offers great resources for journalists
Positive changes are coming to the SMG-managed Laredo Energy Arena. In an effort to better facilitate journalist needs, the LEA has created a new online resource to help reporters and editors in their coverage of the arena.
The new Press Room page of our site is designed to help you better access information you need. You can visit the Web page by going to www.learena.com/arena/pressroom.
The Press Room offers a new and easier way to apply for media access to arena events. You can choose from a list of
upcoming events that are currently accepting requests for media access. This new online form allows journalists to apply
ahead of time, without having to save and e-mail, or fax forms, as was needed in the past.
While filling out your quick and simple application, you may also ask for an interview with a specific artist, or an official representative of the show.
Towards the bottom of the page are newsworthy releases with photos and videos for you to use in your reporting, or to
republish online or in print.
You can choose to visit the Press Room periodically for updates, new stories, or to apply for media access for new shows.
A link to apply for media access will now be included in every press release our venue sends announcing a new show.
We know that few entities have the resources or the relationships we share with our media partners. The arena
continues to welcome feedback and suggestions on how to better facilitate your needs as a journalist.
“This is a great example of the goals we are striving to attain when it comes to better communication and overall
service,” said Xavier Villalon, general manager for the SMG-managed Laredo Energy Arena.
Take a minute to visit our Press Room now. We look forward to working with you in your coverage of the arena.
